REAL Ministries community groups are weekly meetings that are part of our vision to see people between the ages of 18-35 reached with the Gospel, taught to live godly lives, and to send them out to reach others.
We have two groups that meet in Rockville, CT and in Willimantic, CT on a biweekly alternating basis on Tuesday evenings with a 7:45 start time.
DISCIPLESHIP STUDY GROUP
In this group we come together to pray, worship, and hold on-going topical/book studies over the course of an allotted period of time. This is a group that will focus on growing in both the knowledge and practice of certain topics. Because of this, this group will be asked to be committed to the studies that we are doing in it. If you plan on being a part of this group please be sure to pick up a copy of the book being read.
The book currently being read is: The Pursuit of Holiness by: Jerry Bridges
This week’s reading: Chapter two
OPEN/FREE DISCUSSION GROUP
This group is a discussion based group where we come together to pray, worship, and then hold an open discussion on a different topic each time we meet. Topics will be chosen by group members. This is an unscripted, impromptu style type of group.
Topics discussed so far:
-Fasting
-Purity
-Prayer
-Belief
